Our 40th Annual Apple Festival was a rousing success!! We had two absolutely beautiful days of weather and fellowship! Our community and those from surrounding towns came out in large numbers to help us celebrate 40 years of bringing this festival to our community. In addition to all of our regular activities of crafts, kid’s games, terrific vendors, great food, homemade goodies and our delicious pies, we had some awesome entertainment over the two days. Our parishioner Ray Hofbauer brought his fellow Monroe Notables to perform a few great numbers — with a terrific solo by Ray! Pat Foster invited his friends at Metropolitan Car Group to come and show off some cool cars! Jerry Gregory asked the folks at Fred Astaire Dance Studio to come dance for us. In addition to all of that, the kids at Monroe Dance Academy performed again this year. It was great to have the community support us in such an entertaining way! We will definitely continue and add to our entertainment next year!
Most importantly, thank you to all of our parishioners for everything you do each and every year — before, during and after—to make our festival a success each year. Thank you for all of the hours of donating your time and energy into baking, running around, shopping, cooking, reaching out to the community, preparation, set up, take down, and of course, being here and working the two days of the festival. You are all so amazing!! It’s a wonderful time to be together and celebrate all the blessings at Christ Church Tashua.
